This afternoon Noel was interviewed by Scott Simon (the NPR geek in me swoons) for a segment to appear on Weekend Edition Saturday tomorrow. That was the first thing I heard after I got up this morning! Good to hear Conway name-checked on NPR.
Word up! I picked up the Chicago Transit Authority a few weeks ago myself, and it's quite good.
Damn, I couldn't hear Weekend Edition on Saturday thanks to some loud children. I would have loved to have happened upon this by accident, but so happy to hear Noel on NPR! And I'm so honored to have known Noel when he was 20.
